Research and optimization of hydrogen through the use of electrolysis of water using wind, solar radiation and geothermal energy
Area of applications
Hydrogen production using renewable energy to produce hydrogen fuel for vehicles, energy generation and applications in the chemical industry.
Brief description
Improving parameters of hydrogen production systems by electrolysis of water using wind, solar radiation and geothermal energy flooded gas fields. Among those parameters are the technical and technological characteristics of such systems, the existing fund of flooded gas fields and their infrastructure. This improvement is carried out by mathematical modelling of systems based on long-term data meteorological observations, hydrogeological and geothermal data of the State geological information fund of Ukraine.
Expected results
Improving parameters of hydrogen production systems by electrolysis of water using wind, solar radiation and geothermal energy, taking into account technical and technological characteristics of such systems and the existing fund flooded gas fields and their infrastructure.
Advantages
Instead of using conventional energy sources for hydrogen production, renewable energy sources such as wind, solar radiation and geothermal energy are used.
