Obtaining parameters for hydrogen generation system that uses electrolyzers and renewable energy sources for further automatic processing and information transmission
Area of applications
Based on calculations there will be developed a mathematical model for its further application in predicting energy performance of hydrogen extracting.
Brief description
Estimating energy potential of renewable energy sources in Pereyaslav-Khmelnitskyi region according to the weather services.
Calculating modes for electricity generation by wind and solar installations.
Calculating possible modes for electricity generation by wind and solar installations.
Calculating heat accumulation process in permeable underground layers.
Expected results
There will be determined the parameters characterizing hydrogen extraction efficiency for complex wind-solar plants in Pereyaslav-Khmelnitskyi region environment.
Advantages
Complex use of renewable energy sources and electrolyzers for hydrogen production as an energy carrier. This will help to improve economic performance of the system and remove key challenges in wind energy use such as daily and seasonal variations in wind speed. It will also greatly simplify the design of wind power plant.

Project development
The data on renewable energy sources was collected and generalized according to meteorological services in Pereyaslav-Khmelnitskyi district.
The power potential of renewables in Pereyaslav-Khmelnitskyi region were estimated according to weather services.
There were calculated modes for electricity generation by wind and solar power plants.
There were calculated possible modes for electricity generation by wind and solar power plants.
There were made calculation as for heat accumulation in underground permeable layers.
There was carried out calculations as for predictable hydrogen generation capacities during 24-hour period as well as by seasons and depending on electrolyzer specifications.
