Prof. Tamara Velikanova is world-acknowledged specialist in materials science. She works in the field of alloy investigations and phase diagrams of ternary and multinary (multicomponent) systems. She has a great experience in the studying of alloy properties as a base for new materials development and technological background for production of alloys. She has 4 monographs and more than 250 scientific publications, 1 patent of Former USSR.

Research Interests. Prof. Velikanova has supervised investigation of many alloy systems, including those ones as follows:

Awards. Prof. Velikanova’s productive works was awarded with:

International Collaboration. Prof. Velikanova represents Ukraine in Alloy Phase Diagram International Commission (APDIC), she is permanent participant of CALPHAD meetings and organizer of permanent International Schools-Conferences “Phase Diagrams in Materials Science”. For as long as 15 years she has been working in International MSI Team for assessment of data on phase diagrams, which has been founded by Max Plank Institute of Metal Physics of Stuttgart, Germany (Dr. G. Effenberg). As professor-visitor she routinely collaborates with Institute of Structure Investigation of Research Center in Juelich, Germany (2000-2004) and Max Plank Institute of Metal Physics and Materials Science International Services in Stuttgart, Germany (1991-2004).
      Prof. Velikanova communicates and collaborates with scientists from a number of scientific centers specialized in the field of alloy constitution research, phase diagrams and thermodynamics, as follows: Institut fur Physikalische Chemie, Universitat Wien, Austria (Prof. P.Rogl); Laboratoire de Physico-chimie de La Matiere Condensee, Universite Montpellier II, France (Prof. J.-C.Tedenac); Dipartimento di Chimica e Chimica Industriale Universita di Genova, Italy (Prof. R.Ferro); Universidade Federal Flumimense em Volta Redonda, Brazil (Prof. A. Costa e Silva).
