Abstract

The authors’ software for calculating the multifractal characteristics of images of structures obtained using electron microscopy, is applied to the analysis of a series of images of hot-pressed AlB12 - AlN composites. The correlation of the mechanical properties of these composites with the multifractal characteristics of both the phase structure and phase boundary structure is shown.
