     The Conference Organizing Committee invites you to participate at the International Conference “Electrical contacts and electrodes”(EC-2013).This conference will be held at the picturesque nook of the south coast of Crimea in Katsiveli-town settlement on September 23 - 28, 2013.
     Participants will be given a comfortable lodging, good nutrition and friendly service. Well-equipped park, sport grounds,water park facilities and beaches will be at your service. You could also travel and see the sights of Crimea.      Arrival and accomodation of the Conference participants will take place on September 23, 2013 and their departure on September 28, 2013.

     TOPICS OF THE CONFERENCE

     1. Switch contacts (electrodes). The discharge between them in different environments. Mass transfer in the electrode gap.
     2. Secondary structure in the active layer of the contacts and electrodes. Its role in the formation of their functional properties. Selection of the control contacts parameters.      3. Modeling the propagation of heat in the composite material, under the influence of an arc - as opportunity of justification to its original structure and design of the contact parts.
     4. Scientific justification of the principles of content, properties and manufacturing tecnology choice of contacts (electrodes) for different environments.
     5. Bench tests of the electrical contacts. Selection of conditions for their effective use.
     6. The sliding electrical contacts. Composite materials for them. Scientific basis of the choice of technology manufacturing. Test methods.
     7. Materials for the working tool electric technological equipment (resistance welding machines, copying and broaching machines and systems for electric sparc coating).
     8. Role of soldering (soldering – welding) processes in formation of contact joints. Methods of a nondestructive examination.
     9. Problems of using recycled materials in the production of materials for electrical engineering. Methods of processing and control of powders, composite materials and article.

     REQUIREMENTS FOR ABSTRACTS:

     The text should be typed on one of the working languages of the editor WORD (size 12, 1.5 line spacing). The volume of abstracts – 0,5 of page. Boxes at the top, left and right - 2 cm. Name must be printed in capital letters in the middle of the series. Below are the initials and names, even lower - organization, city and country. Abstracts must not contain formulas, tables, figures and photographs. The Organizing Committee is not responsible for mistakes made by you in theses and while filling the application for participation in the conference.

     Other currency at the rate of NBU on the date of payment.      Registration fee includes the preparation and publication of collections of abstracts and conference proceedings, coffee and tea during breaks

     The revised rates will be presented in the second announcement. The drive to the village Katsively: by plane, by train to the city of Simferopol, the bus route: Simferopol - Simeiz - Katsively or train to the city of Sevastopol, a bus route Sevastopol - Yalta to Katsively village.
