Abstract

The martensitic transformation features of composites based on ZrO2 were considered. It was shown that the martensitic transformation in composites based on ZrO2 can be both athermal and isothermal. The critical particles size of solid solutions based on ZrO2 were analyzed. The aging mechanisms of the ZrO2 ceramics were discussed.
