Influence of the nature of the heat transfer on the thermokinetic trajectories of the synthesis processes of intermetallides NiAl₃ and Ni₃Al

Abstract

Based on a synergetic model, a computer experiment was used to compare the effect of heat transfer mechanisms on the nature of temperature changes during the synthesis of NiAl₃ and Ni₃Al intermetallic compounds. It was found that energy transfer by radiation plays a major role in the thermal behavior of the reaction system.
