Abstract

Ribbons with a porosity varying from 22 to 0.5% have been produced by rolling a multilayer knitted-mesh package made of 12Kh18N10T steel wire bundles 30 µm in diameter. Experimental and generalized analytical dependences of fatigue characteristics and their combinations on porosity and rolling strain have been established using resonant cyclic loading techniques. Corrections have been introduced into the expressions for vibration strength and vibration deformation to allow for the importance of their components.
