Abstract

The paper presents a detailed review of dielectromagnetic materials. Basic types of dielectromagnetics are analyzed from their invention to present. Production methods and basic properties of these magnetic materials are described. The focus is given to modern magnetically soft dielectromagnetics based on amorphous and nanocrystalline alloy powders. It is shown that such dielectromagnetics have high saturation induction (about 1.5 T) and high temperature stability, making them major competitors for expensive permalloys.
