Abstract

Possibilities of modeling thermodynamic properties of alloys of ternary metallic systems from the analogous ones of the binary boundary subsystems are considered. A comparison of the most typical "geometrical" and analytical modeling methods is presented. Analysis of extending these models onto the quaternary systems is conducted. Usage of these models is shown for a system Al—Ni—Zr as an example.
