Abstract

Damping characteristics of materials with primary content of Тi3AlC2 up to 95% (mas.) are specified. With the increase of synthesis time from 1 to 3 hours at 1250 °С the structure of MAX phase becomes homogeneous and there is a segregation of admixture oxygen, which has a positive influence on damping characteristics.
