Abstract

The authors proposed to improve quality of the cast medical articles via сomplex modification of the ceramics by introductioning aluminum and silicon metallic powders into the alumina-based refractory mixture. The effect of increase in the ceramics bending strength is explained by the intensification of mullite formation — phase component playing the role of a refractory frame.
